London to Brighton 2024 Commemorative Run

On November 14, 1896, the British Motor Car Club celebrated legislation raising the legal speed limit from 4mph to 14mph with the Motor Car Tour to Brighton. Now known as the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, the event continues to the present day and OECC’s Vancouver Coast Branch has been celebrating it since the hundredth anniversary in 1996.

PLEASE JOIN US FOR THE 29th RUNNING OF THE ANNUAL LONDON to BRIGHTON COMMEMORATIVE RUN

WHEN: SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2024

STARTING LOCATION: Alyn Edwards Restoration Shop, 25990 – 100th Avenue, Maple Ridge (This is a private residence but has ample parking on site)
COST:                              $10.00 per car Registration (Registration fees will be donated to Surrey Delta Meals on Wheels)
MEETING TIME:             9:30 am
FIRST CAR  OUT:          10:30 am
DESTINATION:               Mission Springs Brewing Company (Mission Springs Pub) 7160 Oliver Street, Mission, B.C.

ROUTE DIRECTIONS:   Will be available on the day of the event

LUNCH: Lunch will be provided at the Mission Springs Pub 7160 Oliver Street, Mission, B.C.   If the weather is inclement and you decide not to do the run and you have prepaid you would still be welcome to join us for lunch. Lunch menu pre-orders are closed as of October 30, however, late registrants can still order from the restaurant menu on the day of the event.

** HOW TO REGISTER AND PAY FOR THE RUN:  Online registration for this run is now closed, however, you can still attend the run by registering and paying on the day of the event.
