Our Afternoon meetings begin again on October 21st! Join us for a presentation about the newly-released Canada’s Changing Climate Report 2026, a national assessment prepared by more than 100 Canadian climate scientists and oceanographers. Learn how and why Canada’s land and oceans are changing and how people can use the report. There is even a little bit of good news at the end! The presentation will be given by Dr. Sophia Johannessen, one of the Coordinating Lead Authors of the report.

Doors open at 1:30pm, meeting begins at 2:00pm. Free refreshments! Location: St. Mary’s Anglican Church Hall, 1973 Cultra Ave, Saanichton.

What’s Coming Up?

On October 25th, join us for a visit to a remarkable collection of cars in Victoria! This shop tour is near the Oak Bay border. The doors will open at 1:30pm for the tour, followed by refreshments nearby at Christie’s Carriage House.
