Branch Events

Welcome to the Kootenay Branch of the Old English Car Club of BC. I am Cliff Blakey, chairman, and we are based in Cranbrook, B.C, and we have members around the Kootenays and beyond.   My email is cliff@westernwireless.ca.

We have a range of British car models such as MGA, MGB, MG TD, Morgan, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Triumph TR6, Triumph Spitfire, Austin 8 Roadster, Lotus Elan, Sunbeam Alpine, Morris and Hillman. This branch was formed in January 2013 so we are still a young entity with 28 members at present.

Scheduled Events

Due to a venue change, our big annual event is the “Brits invade Castlegar” car show each year in September.  This is a fantastic show located right on the north end of Castlegar  at the train museum and featured a unique collection of British Cars and Motorbikes from around BC and beyond.  We also organize runs, charity events such as Mother’s Day Lunch and Poker Run, and attend other regional car shows for our members from time to time.
