About the Branch
We have members as far north as Quesnel, south to Oliver, west to Merritt, and east to Salmon Arm. Being primarily based in Kamloops that is where most drives start or finish at and social events happen mostly in this immediate area as well. We have a few “long distance” drivers here, so often it will be four or five of us that venture out towards the outer limits of our membership area.
The Thompson Valley Branch activites are very much affected by season. Spring, Summer, and Fall offer many opportunities to enjoy the many quiet country roads easily within a days drive. We hold numerous drives through our branch area, member social gatherings, garage visits, winery visits, and really anything to get out to enjoy our cars and company. Our events are meant to appeal to both the car enthusiast and membership partner. We also attend non-club events held through the region. During the off season we hold monthly social gatherings to keep up with each other and plan for the next time we can get our cars out of storage.

My first English car was a 1961 Austin Mini, a very cool car in the 1970s. I moved up to a 1966 MGB in the 1980s. This was back when we used them for daily drivers. I recently restored a 1973 Triumph TR6, getting much better care than the Mini and B. Rounding out my English car experiences is a 2004 Jaguar X Type Sport Wagon. My mechanical skills have been all self taught when my cars needed repairs.
