Preserving our British Motoring Heritage

Jaguar S Type 4 door sedan in wonderful condition. Although rescued by the current owner through an older restoration, it has remained in very good condition. The maintenance and servicing over the years with the present owner of this S type has been second to none. The body panel alignment is perfect, the Cotswold Blue paintwork is very neat and the doors, trunk and hood are similarly in a good condition and fit perfectly. The blue leather interior trim with gray headliner looks fantastic. The car has just returned from the bodyshop where the rocker panels and Jacking points were replaced. This car is complete and wants for nothing. The car sports the elegant 3.8 Litre engine that starts instantly and runs smoothly, coupled with a Moss four-speed manual transmission with Overdrive and the independent rear end suspension made famous by the E-Type. Michelin tires and Dayton stainless steel 72 spoke wheels apply the more than adequate power to the road. Four wheel disk brakes provide sufficient restraint. Recent additions under the stewardship of the present owner are a complete stainless exhaust system and Lucas driving lights in their proper buckets. Electric air horns replace the damaged originals, attract attention in a civil way and help clear the road to allow this elegant lady to pass. A modern 10 disc CD player is remotely installed in the trunk and plays through the original looking Blaupunkt radio and a discrete four speaker system….
The current owner is now sadly passing the stewardship of this S Type on to a new owner who can continue to care for her in the way she deserves. The new owner will want to address a rusty front X-member, now, or in the future . . . and of course. . . It’s a Jaguar, so it leaks (a little). However. . . the car looks, drives and handles the way she did originally. . . with style!
