Body to build 1950 style sports racing car

This fiber glass body was professionally built in the UK and I imported it to build a copy of a Frazer Nash LeMans or HWM. The opportunity arose to have a full aluminum body made-using this body as the 'buck' -so this is now surplus and for sale. It was originally intended to be fitted to a lengthened Spitfire or GT6 chassis-8 foot wheelbase. However, I used a period style twin tube chassis and can show the purchaser how to do this easily. I had the body built to accommodate a six cylinder engine as large as a Jaguar XK. You could also fit a V8 if you want a "Stovebolt Special". The body is in primer and has never been final painted or fitted to a finished car. It has had many, many hours of detail work to make it impossible to tell if it is aluminum or fiber glass. The grill in the photos is not included and is not for sale! Red car is aluminum body following painting by RWM--not for sale!
