DESCRIPTION:On November 14, 1896, the British Motor Car Club celebrated legislation raising the legal speed limit from 4mph to 14mph with the Motor Car Tour to Brighton. Now known as the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, the event continues to the\npresent day and OECC’s Vancouver Coast Branch has been celebrating it since the hundredth anniversary in 1996.\nPLEASE JOIN US FOR THE 28th RUNNING OF THE ANNUAL LONDON to BRIGHTON COMMEMORATIVE RUN\nSUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2023\nDelta Heritage Air Park, 4103 104 St., Delta.\nCOST: $10.00/car Registration (Registration fees will be donated to a Surrey Delta Meals on Wheels).\nMEETING TIME: 09:30 am.\nFIRST CAR OUT: 10:30 am.\nDESTINATION: Langley Airport, Adrian’s Restaurant\nROUTE DIRECTIONS will be available on the day of the event.\nLUNCH – a buffet lunch has been arranged at Adrian’s Restaurant at Langley Airport.\nThis is a totally new facility. Google – “Adrian’s at the Airport”\nThe cost is $45.00 per person, taxes and gratuity included.\nIf you wish to participate in the lunch please register and pay separately for  lunch tickets.  Any lunch tickets bought after October 30, 2023, will not be refundable. – (You have to return to the main page to buy the lunch tickets).\nThe restaurant requires a firm number 7 days in advance therefore we cannot issue refunds for cancellations after October 31.
