CAR OF THE MONTH

Previous Owners Don and Dolores Stevens, South Island branch OECC.
This car was a husband-and-wife project. The Alpine was purchased in
March, 2002, in Royston, where it had been in storage for over twenty
years.
It had been lady-owned before coming to Royston, and was original and
complete, and driveable. It required some engine work, brake work, rust
removal, and new paint and chroming. Metal hard-top, convertible top,
and tonneau cover came with it.
The little car has proven to be reliable and a real joy to drive since
restoration in 2003.
The car has recently been sold, ironically to a lady, and has moved up-island, and is sure to give its new owner continued enjoyment.
