The Old English Car Club & Registry Society of B.C.

The O.E.C.C. supports owners of all makes and types of British vehicles. Encouraging their
restoration, preservation and enjoyment.

The Old English Car Club and Registry Society of B.C. is a legal non-profit Society registered with the Registrar of the Province of British Columbia. Branch Societies are located within the Province of B.C. in Victoria, Vancouver, Nanaimo, Comox, Kamloops and Prince George. Each Branch has their own executive, newsletter and activities. The Society is administered by a Board of Directors duly elected by its members. Branch Chairpersons, elected at their Branch level, are automatically Directors on the Board, unless they appoint a delegate from their Branch to act on their behalf.

The 1986 Ian Cox started a registry of cars. . In 1988 the registry became the OECC&R On January 19, 1993 the Club was officialy registered and the Society was born. The membership at this time included a small group of persons who were not affiliated with any Branch and thus up to to and including March 31st 2000, these persons were known as “Society Only Members”. In order to serve these folks better a motion was passed to affiliate them into a Branch.

If you would like to join this enthusiatic group of people, you may either contact the Society or, preferably, you can contact the Branch nearest you directly. Just page down to the Branch Link and then click on to the Branch of your choice. Annual Membership fees vary between $20 and $30 and are set by the local Branches. All Branches are members of the Confederation of Autosport Car Clubs and covered by insurance from ASDN Canada FIA Inc for club related events.
